Meet Becky, Massage Therapist

A Path Forged Through Personal Experience

Becky’s passion for massage therapy stems from deeply personal experience. After undergoing four back surgeries herself, she witnessed firsthand the challenges of recovery, including scar tissue, limited mobility, and decreased quality of life. This experience ignited a powerful desire to help others. “I wanted to help people, hopefully avoid surgery.” Her goal is simple yet profound: to help clients heal naturally, without unnecessary medical interventions.

Education and Expertise

Becky completed her training at Irene’s Myomassology Institute in Southfield from March 2023 to March 2024. She brings a comprehensive range of qualifications to her practice, including therapeutic massage, lymphatic drainage, cranial sacral therapy, and reflexology. She is also a certified Reiki master, adding an energetic healing dimension to her therapeutic approach.

Making a Real Difference

What fulfills Becky most is seeing tangible results in her clients’ lives. One of her most rewarding cases involved a retired Red Wings hockey player who had undergone scope surgery on his left arm. Through 23 dedicated sessions together, she helped him regain 85% of his range of motion, demonstrating her dedication and skill in restoring mobility and function.

This is actually Becky’s second career in massage therapy. Her first began in 2003 but was interrupted by a serious accident that required a 20 year recovery. “I know I belong here because it’s my second time and I have more empathy too now.” This experience has given her deeper understanding for her clients’ struggles, allowing her to connect with them on a meaningful level.
